This by far was the strongest single image of the bunch. It's emotionally compelling — tells an entire story in one capture. It's technically good, has that beautiful late afternoon light.
A truly stunning, dramatic and original athletics photo. I'm not sure if this photo is capturing the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat, but what is crystal clear is the commitment of the player (evidenced by his mud-covered uniform) and the bond between student and coach. Bravo!
Even though there was only one photo, it was powerful, moving and told a beautiful story.

I love how effectively these photos celebrate girls. They capture their students' exuberance, strength, sense of community and support for one another. They're also well composed, even giving their web designer those good, hard-to-find super-wide banner shots!
Nearly all of the photos in this series could pass for professional. Taken together, they convey camaraderie between students and an excitement for learning. And I love the originality of the students fist-bumping between school buses!

Love that the photographer is shooting from different, well-chosen heights. LOTS of engaged student faces, which is exactly what you need. Also, I feel like I know some things about the culture and state of mind of this school after these pictures, in a way that leaves me feeling good about the place — so well done!
