The retro movie "newsreel" of the 1950s rises from the dead to humorous effect in this video. Right down to the announcer’s voice and the film burning up in the projector, I was captivated from beginning to end. Far and above the best video I've seen this year!
This was so engaging from start to finish! Despite being filmed with an 'aging' filter, the quality of the video was extremely high and the script and actions blended well. A great example of how lots of planning can elevate a video.
Westminster Christian highlighted 7 ways to successfully survive the spring semester in this creative, fun video promotion for Spirit Week. The brilliant script was supported by a wonderful narrator and appealing visuals. The finale captured the energy from previous Spirit Weeks and invited you to join the fun!

McCallie puts a macho twist on bowling, of all things, and migrates rap into elite education (there, I said it).
McCallie does it again. With a mix of humor, impressive filmwork, and great music, this video brings some enthusiasm and recognition to athletes who don't always get the hype and celebration as other sports. Well done.
I've only judged this category for 2 years but I'm already marking out McCallie's contributions. The combination of their advanced technical ability and sheer confidence sets them apart from other schools. To make bowling exciting and engaging is a huge challenge but they get so much from their students. This type of video isn't for everyone but I think they know exactly who they are appealing to!

So impressed! In most schools, this would be a LONG (boring) email with details and information. The production values, music and conversational script kept this viewer super engaged. It moved quickly, showed off-campus spaces, and showcased the genuine excitement the school leadership has for upcoming changes (how are they all such naturals on camera!?). Well done.
This is the best marketing video for academics and programs I've ever seen, and I'm older than dirt and have been around several blocks in my time. The copy, the dialogue, the videography — all are top-notch.
