This feature boldly incorporates shapes and plenty of large images of the artist and the artists' lively work. In the writing, we hear the voice of Ali Silverstein as she discusses her influences, motivations, and fears.
A knockout! The designer wisely put the artwork front and center; the text sections are visually interesting in their own right without competing for attention. It's a long article, but it never drags—each page is inviting in its own way while working together as a harmonious whole. The creativity in the design is befitting of the article's talented subject.
Beautiful layout. The balance of text and images is perfect. I also really appreciate the way that the typography pulls you into the article.

This slice of life about Sandra Boynton is delightfully written and gets at the heart of who she is — a multi-talent who makes it sound like she stumbled into her career and continues to work hard at creating a niche.
Some really beautiful photos give visual interest to this article (which happens to be about one of my favorite children's authors.) It's a text-heavy story but broken up into readable chunks.

What a fun and unexpected topic for an article! The design is clean and inviting, and the photos reflect the uniqueness of each set of twins. Definitely brought a smile to my face.
The photos and quotes in this feature were delightful to read and view. I found myself wanting to meet the student and faculty twins. So many of them in one school!
